October is almost here…

So October is almost here and I haven’t done near as much drawing as I had hoped. I have my fair share of excuses, but those don’t make good illustrations. I learned I was trying too hard to produce work in an assembly line manner and the few drawings I was able to crank out, were pretty poor and felt forced. I’ve also found that working slowly keeps it fun and that New Wave music is a great motivational tool for me. Mostly because it makes me remember the kid I used to be and I don’t want to let that guy down.
You should know that while I was not able to post new illustrations, like I was hoping, I HAVE been busy creating comic pages for my next project. I hope to announce it on Halloween so wish me luck!
